  • Son Boronat is a family-run agroturismo in the hills of Calvià, Mallorca. Established in 1645 and welcoming guests as a hotel since 1998, it's one of the island's oldest fincas: an intimate eight-room hotel set within 70,000 m² of mostly forested land, with terraced gardens, a pool, a historic stone tower, and a quiet, soulful atmosphere where history meets hospitality. Alongside stays, the finca hosts weddings, retreats, celebrations and events, and wellness experiences.

  • We're in the countryside of Calvià, just a 20-minute drive from Palma and 10 minutes from Santa Ponsa, set against the backdrop of the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana mountains.

  • The finca is about 20 minutes by car from Palma and the airport, and 10 minutes from Santa Ponsa. We'd recommend arriving by car. Once you turn into the countryside, the road winds up to the finca through open landscape. If you let us know your travel plans before you arrive, we're glad to help with directions.

  • Yes, there is parking at the property for guests. For events we have separate parking guidelines, which we'll share with you as part of the planning.

  • We'd love to show you around. Seeing Son Boronat in person, walking the gardens, and feeling the atmosphere is the best way to know it's right for you. The one honest note: through the busiest high-season weeks our small family team is fully devoted to the guests staying with us, so we plan visits for a calmer moment when we can give you proper, unhurried time. Just let us know when you're next likely to be in Mallorca and we'll find a window.

Stay

Eight rooms and suites, each with views over the rolling countryside, breakfast served daily, and the gardens and pool waiting just outside your door. Here's what to know before you settle in.

Check Availability

  • We have eight rooms, all en-suite, with breakfast included, sleeping up to 16 guests. It's an intentionally small number that keeps the finca calm, personal, and unhurried.

  • Our main season runs from April to October. Selected dates outside the main season may be available on request, so a quick message before you travel always helps.

  • Breakfast is served daily for all overnight guests. As everything is prepared with care and in small numbers, we kindly ask that you let us know any dietary needs in advance.

  • We don't offer dinner as part of a standard hotel stay, unless it's one of our special dinner experiences or a seasonal evening around the table. These run at certain times through the season, so get in touch and we'll let you know what's coming up during your dates.

  • Check-in is typically from 16:00 and check-out by 11:00, with your exact times confirmed in your booking. As a small finca, we're not able to offer early check-in, late check-out, or early access to the rooms and pool before check-in.

Weddings & Celebrations

A wedding at Son Boronat is intimate, personal, and deeply connected to the island, an old Mallorcan finca where celebrations naturally unfold. A fairytale setting for up to 80 guests, coordinated from the very first conversation by our in-house wedding planner.

  • The event capacity is 80 wedding guests. Celebrations above 80 may be considered with prior approval. It's a setting designed for couples who want something intimate and personal rather than grand.

  • Retreat formats vary. Contact us and we’ll help determine the best option for your group.

  • Our eight en-suite rooms sleep up to 16 guests on-site, so those closest to you can stay through the celebration. For larger guest lists, the rest of your party stays nearby.

  • Yes. Wedding bookings take the whole estate exclusively, all eight rooms, the gardens, courtyard, tower, and grounds.

  • Yes. Every wedding at Son Boronat is coordinated by our in-house wedding planner, who works closely with you from the very beginning to bring your vision beautifully to life.

  • Of course. These moments around the wedding day are some of the most loved here. Each additional gathering is arranged as a secondary event, and we'll walk you through the options and how they're priced when we talk.

  • Send us an email with your preferred dates and a little about the day you're dreaming of, and we'll send the exact available dates plus a personal price simulation and our wedding dossier.

    Our calendar moves quickly and dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis (a date is held once a signed agreement and deposit are in place), so it's worth reaching out early.

Retreats & Group Experiences

A soulful hideaway where nature, stillness, and understated beauty create space for real connection. From the yoga shala to the gardens and healing spaces, Son Boronat is a grounded, authentic setting for retreats that feel intimate and meaningful.

Host Your Retreat

  • The finca is well suited to yoga, wellness, meditation, movement, and creative retreats, as well as sound baths and quieter group gatherings. If you're leading practice of almost any kind, we'd love to hear what you have in mind.

  • Yes. For retreats the estate is taken exclusively: all eight rooms, the gardens, the courtyard, the pool, and the grounds are entirely yours, with no other guests.

  • A light-filled yoga shala (use of the shala and equipment is included), the terraced gardens and intimate courtyard, and the pool with mountain views, all surrounded by 70,000 m² of mostly forested land. The cleaning of shared spaces is included, and we take a refundable damage deposit at check-in, returned after departure.

  • Yes. We offer in-house dining built around board packages. Our menus are vegetarian-based with an optional protein add-on, and we tailor everything to your group's dietary needs. We'll share current per-person pricing for your dates by email.

  • Send us an email about your retreat, including your dates, group size, and vision, and we'll take it from there, with a personal price simulation and the retreat dossier so you can explore everything we offer. There's a minimum stay for exclusive-use bookings, which we'll confirm with your dates.
